The Data Strategist is responsible for designing and leading innovative strategies that drive analytical and accountable solutions powered by data science. You will tell data-driven stories to meet client goals, partnering with internal teams and external clients to plan, scope, execute, and evaluate out-of-home (OOH) campaign measurement and attribution initiatives that enhance revenue and retention. Working with the Data Strategy Director, you will own strategic opportunities to develop and implement data products that differentiate billups and showcase our evolving technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships with internal teams and clients by highlighting data strategy services and products.
- Manage requests for proposals and provide services related to audience analysis, advertising analytics, and attribution studies, acting as the link between internal teams (media, business, sciences) and external clients (advertisers, agencies, media owners).
- Support company data efforts to elevate billups within the industry through client service, internal training, new business development, and thought leadership.
- Contribute to creating and communicating data narratives through internal and external channels, with marketing and design support.
- Collaborate with Sciences, Analytics, Product, Marketing, Business, and Media teams to support integrated communications and storytelling across various media channels.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish with confidence and accuracy.
- Stay informed about relevant data, tools, strategies, and case studies to enhance analytical techniques.
Additional Duties
- Connect and synthesize information with a growth mindset, utilizing audience insights, brand experience, and measurement strategies to deliver impactful out-of-home campaign results.
- Demonstrate strong storytelling, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Understand audience research, targeting, data visualization, market and media research techniques, and external data sources.
- Manage and mentor team members to develop their technical skills and knowledge.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and programming languages is preferred.
- Maintain strong spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel) and presentation skills (PowerPoint, Keynote).

Qualifications
Must be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations. Requirements include :
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role with a strong data analytics foundation.
- Prior experience in media, advertising, AdTech, or brand direct roles.
- Knowledge of advertising technology, digital marketing ecosystem, and OOH industry is preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to interpret complex documents, respond effectively to inquiries, and deliver persuasive speeches and presentations to diverse audiences, including top management and public groups.
