SGI is seeking a Data Solution Architect in Regina to shape our data and analytics ecosystem. You will define data architectures and end-to-end designs, aligning with platform infrastructure and enterprise standards to enable scalable analytics and business innovation.
Working with Data Architects and Engineers, you will implement secure, cost-effective data solutions, while ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and data governance.
Work Location: Regina, Head Office. This role is eligible for a hybrid work option in Regina. Remote work may be considered if you reside outside Regina but within Saskatchewan.
Pay Range: $109,052 - $145,411

We're looking for a Data Solution Architect to play a critical role in shaping our enterprise data and analytics ecosystem. In this role, you will transform our data architecture into practical, implementable solutions that support modern data platforms, analytics capabilities, and business innovation.
As a Data Solution Architect, you will be at the intersection of architecture, data engineering, and business transformation. You will define how data architecture is implemented through end-to-end solution designs aligned with platform infrastructure, integration patterns, and enterprise standards, enabling our data's future growth and building the trusted data foundation that supports critical decision-making across SGI. Working closely with Data Architects, Data Engineers, and IT stakeholders, you will ensure data solutions are implemented, sustained, and aligned with data standards and platform strategy.
You bring a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills, including:
The skills and experience for this role are typically gained through a four-year degree in a relevant field of study, like Computer Science, Mathematics & Applied Science, Engineering, or Information Technology, or defined equivalency, along with six years’ experience in data engineering, and enterprise data solutions, with progressive involvement in data architecture, Azure and cloud-based data platforms, and data integration initiatives.
