Fidelity Canada is seeking a Data Governance Specialist to lead master data management, governance, and data quality initiatives. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure reliable data assets, and drive governance adoption across the enterprise.

The role reports to the Manager Data Governance and is based in Toronto hybrid with eventual relocation to Mississauga. A strong background in data governance and familiar tools is preferred.

Formación

• University degree in IT or business preferred.
• 4–5 years of experience in MDM, data governance, data quality measurement.
• 3–5 years with business glossary and metadata tools (Ataccama, EDC, Collibra) and data quality tools (Ataccama, Informatica DQ).
• Experience in Financial Services is an asset.
• CDMP or similar DAMA certification is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Support MDM capabilities across key data domains: Customer, Product, Reference Data.
• Define master data standards, ownership, stewardship, and governance processes.
• Onboard source systems, profile data, map, validate, test, and achieve operational readiness.
• Participate in record matching, survivorship, and golden-record processes.
• Maintain data definitions, metadata, and lineage documentation.
• Identify and coordinate resolution of master data issues with stakeholders.
• Define data quality rules, thresholds, and monitoring with data owners and stewards.
• Profile data, analyze exceptions, and coordinate remediation.
• Monitor MDM and data quality scorecards and KPIs.
• Support enterprise governance frameworks and controls.
