Colliers in Toronto is seeking a Data Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders with data teams, translating complex needs into data requirements and clear technical specifications for engineering efforts.

Reporting to the Data Governance Director, you will help ensure enterprise data is integrated, governed, and AI-ready while collaborating with data engineers, stewards, product managers, and business leaders.

Qualifications

• Translate complex business concepts into detailed data requirements.
• Ability to design data structures and metadata.
• Experience with data governance and data quality practices.
• Experience collaborating across matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Bridge business stakeholders and data teams by translating complex needs into clear data requirements.
• Translate business needs into actionable data and technical specifications for engineering teams.
• Utilize data modelling techniques to design data structures that meet objectives.
• Contribute to Enterprise Data Glossary and metadata management across the organization.
• Drive data integration initiatives across multiple business lines and disparate systems.
• Champion data governance and data quality initiatives across the enterprise.
