Job Description

The Alberta New Home Warranty Program Group of Companies (ANHWP Group) is Alberta’s most experienced and trusted new home warranty provider and educator for homebuilders. With 50 years of leadership in new home warranty products and services, we continue to innovate to meet the needs of homeowners and Builder Members.

This position resides with The New Home Warranty Insurance (Canada) Corporation (NHWICC) and collaborates with The Alberta New Home Warranty Program (ANHWP), the Professional Home Builders Institute of Alberta (PHBI), and Dweller HomeServices.

Accountability

The successful incumbent will be responsible for data entry, document management, and various administrative tasks supporting departmental operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong computer skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Work Location

Calgary, Alberta

Responsibilities
  1. Accurately input and update data in internal systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across files.
  2. Manage spreadsheets, maintain communications, update clients, and track contractor invoicing.
  3. Organize, retrieve, and manage electronic and physical documents.
  4. Assist in preparing, scanning, and filing documentation for department records.
  5. Provide administrative support as needed.
Skills and Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Strong typing and data entry skills with high accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with residential construction terminology and practices is an asset.
  • Experience with Salesforce or CRM systems is an asset.
Knowledge
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–2 years of administrative experience, preferably in construction or home building.
  • Experience with data and records management.
Wage and Hours

$18/hour, 35 hours per week during summer, transitioning to 2-3 days part-time in the fall.
