The Alberta New Home Warranty Program Group ofCompanies (ANHWP Group), is Alberta’s most experienced and most trusted newhome warranty provider and educator for homebuilders. As Alberta’s leader innew home warranty products and services for 50 years, we continue to raise thebar to meet the needs of homeowners and our Builder Members.
This position resides with The Alberta NewHome Warranty Program (ANHWP) and works alongside The New Home WarrantyInsurance (Canada) Corporation (NHWICC) and the Professional Home BuildersInstitute of Alberta (PHBI) and Dweller Home Services.
Accountable for:
The successful incumbent will be accountable for dataentry, document management, and various administrative tasks that support theefficient operation of the Claims department. The ideal candidate will havestrong computer skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a willingnessto learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Work location: Calgary, Alberta
Term: May 20, 2025 to August 22,2025
Working hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (35 hours/week)
Wage: $18/hour
Responsibilities:
The primaryresponsibilities of the Claims Clerk - Insurance are:
·Accurately inputand update claims-related data in internal systems, ensuring accuracy and dataconsistency across files.
·Organize, retrieve,and manage electronic and physical documents.
·Assist inpreparing, scanning, and filing documentation for Claims department files.
·Provideadministrative support to the Claims Team, as required.
Qualificationsand Skills:
·Must be betweenthe ages of 15 and 30 as this position is partially funded by the Canada SummerStudent grant program
·Currentlyenrolled in a post-secondary education, in business administration or relatedarea and returning to a post-secondary institution following your work term.Candidates must be at least in the 2nd year of their Program
