Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the correct, timely, and efficient flow of data from various source systems to various endpoints.

You Will

• Develop data flows based on requirements by executing data transformation, validation, and mapping using NiFi, SQL, and Python.
• Develop components to connect with data sources and destinations via API, SQL, S3, SFTP, and other protocols.
• Maintain and update existing NiFi ETL flows.
• Test and validate data transformations, verification, and delivery for accuracy.
• Develop unit and regression tests.
• Coordinate release plans with stakeholders and engineers.
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues.
• Support operation teams at 2nd and 3rd levels, resolving issues promptly.
• Document data flows and client procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience with ETL tools; experience with Apache NiFi is a plus.
• Experience in data process controls.
• Experience working in agile teams.
• Experience with Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Proficiency in Python and Pyspark for data pipelines and distributed processing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred

• Python programming experience is advantageous.
• Experience with Kafka or AWS Kinesis is desirable.
