Job summary

Avanade Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Engineering Assistant Manager to drive enterprise-grade data, analytics, and AI platform solutions. You will lead design and delivery, mentor teams, and collaborate with solution architects and business stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

You will work with Azure, Fabric, and Databricks while guiding architecture, governance, and security decisions and helping clients modernize data platforms for accelerated analytics and AI journeys.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data engineering initiatives and delivering analytics/AI platforms.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Proven track record of delivering projects with client stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of enterprise-grade data engineering and analytics solutions using Microsoft Azure, Fabric and Databricks.
• Own technical solution design and ensure alignment with architecture, governance, and security.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to capture objectives and guide technical decisions.
• Lead development teams across engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Mentor consultants and junior staff while promoting technical excellence.
