Job summary

Avanade is seeking a Lead Solution Architect in Toronto to drive data and AI platform solutions. You will lead technical discussions, shape deals, and design high-level architectures leveraging Azure Data Services, Fabric and Databricks to deliver real-time insights and AI-powered outcomes.

You will collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders, mentor colleagues, and help win new business through compelling, value-based proposals.

What you’ll do

As an architect assigned to a client project, you will typically work closely with delivery teams and client stakeholders to provide technical leadership, shape deals and propositions, drive architectural decisions, create plans and roadmaps, and produce design artifactsPlay a key role in Avanade's sales process by creating solutions that innovate, inspire and win new business. You’ll have responsibility for shaping the high-level design, estimates, and contractual details for client proposals in collaboration with other subject matter experts in the businessAs a senior member of the Avanade technical community, you will provide coaching and mentoring to motivate and inspire more junior colleagues from within your team and across the organizationHave the ability to translate complex technical concepts and solutions and present them in fit for audience language and value-based outcomes, to senior business stakeholders, technology leaders and internal sales teams.Engage in early conversations with clients and/or sales team and support origination and deal qualification, requirements capture and solutioning, recommending best practices and approaches to achieve optimal outcomes, building strong relationship with clients to become the trusted advisor. Prepare and represent the solution in Deal Reviews and play an active role in client presentations, and negotiations with key client buyersWork collaboratively with the wider Data & AI leadership to shape our current and future offerings, accelerators, and background IP to support GTM activitiesDrive the evolution of best practices and methodologies for AI development, including data management, model training, fine-tuning, and deploymentLead the development of data and analytics platforms, real time intelligence and reporting solutions using Python, SQL, Microsoft Azure Data Services, Fabric and Databricks.Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Data and AI technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into our solutions.Continue to identify the most relevant cross‑industry solutions‑at‑scale for your region and execute on them including Data Migration, Automation Migration, Visualization/Reporting and Core Data Platform Modernization and GovernanceDrive measurable and sustained growth across the Data & AI Solution AreaIntegrate Data & AI into the other Global Solution Areas (Modern Workplace, Apps & Infrastructure, and Business Applications), offerings and go‑to‑market initiativesDrive strong Managed Services and multi-year engagements for Data & AI
