Qualifications

• 2 years of professional data engineering, analytics engineering, or backend engineering experience.
• Strong SQL, Python, and data modeling fundamentals.

• Familiarity with Git workflows and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt models and transformations with data testing suites.
• Ingest data from databases, APIs, and event streams using Python.
• Maintain and upgrade cloud data platform infrastructure and schema migrations.
• Implement data freshness, volume, and anomaly checks for quality.
• Investigate pipeline failures and provide fixes or handoffs.
• Collaborate with analysts and product teams to model reusable datasets.
• Adopt AI coding assistants to draft boilerplate code and tests.
