DarkVision is seeking a Data Developer to join the Data Development Team in North Vancouver, BC. You will collaborate with teammates and other departments to develop data analysis deliverables supporting our customers’ operations and automate analysis workflows.

• MatLab familiarity required.
• This is a co-op role with a monthly pay of CAD 4,500.
• Experience developing and maintaining data analysis workflows or dashboards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scripts to automate analysis workflows
• Develop and maintain analysis dashboards for higher level tracking of project status and KPIs
• Develop and maintain analysis procedures that streamline a sustainable and scalable workflow
• Work with other analysts, Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to document and investigate issues, and prevent their reoccurrence
• Develop new and innovative ways of representing and visualizing current data to generate new customer deliverables
• Help analysts debug issues in their analysis workflow, and reproduce, document and raise issues for other functional teams
• Interact with our Research, Machine Learning, Software, and Product teams to ensure the Data Team's needs are met, and vice versa
• Assist in generating, maintaining, and automating PowerBI dashboard

Job description

DarkVision is looking for a Data Developer to join the Data Development Team in North Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will work collaboratively with teammates and other departments in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to develop and advance the data analysis deliverables supporting the multi-million-dollar operations of our customers.

You will support the Data Analysis Delivery team by writing and maintaining scripts to automate their analysis and deliverable workflows. You will also work with the Product team to prototype new deliverables (inspection reports and 3D visualizations).

This position requires 100% on-site work in our North Vancouver office, where employees enjoy full access to our facility amenities including a well-equipped gym, squash court, climbing wall, steam room, snacks, and more!

Our Team

DarkVision's acoustic imaging technology captures terabytes of high-fidelity data with each run. DarkVision's Data Analysis Development team plays a critical role in the commercial process by supporting the Data Analysis Delivery team in building and maintaining tools to streamline the analysis workflow, advancing and improving new deliverables, and improving processes for quality assurance.

There will always be new software tools and scripts to write and improve, new technologies to exploit and generate deliverables on, and new ways to make processes better, faster, and more sustainable and scalable. This entails a detail-oriented mindset, a default-to-action work ethic, and a multi-disciplinary perspective.

What You Will Do

For this co-op role, we anticipate paying $4,500 per month.
