Job summary

Summerhill Market is seeking a detail-oriented Data Coordinator to join the IT & Data team in Toronto. This entry-level role focuses on maintaining product and business data, supporting store systems, and assisting with reporting and data clean-up.

Ideal candidates have strong computer skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. Prior store experience is a plus, but extensive data experience is not required. You will gain exposure to ERP and POS environments and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; extensive data experience not required.
• Background in data analytics, IT, or business systems is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office apps preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate product, pricing, vendor and other business data across company systems.
• Enter, update, review and validate information to ensure data is complete and accurate.
• Assist with new item setup, pricing updates, promotions, and system updates.
• Review data for errors, inconsistencies, duplicates, and missing information; assist with corrections.
• Support data clean-up and system maintenance projects.
• Use Microsoft Excel to organize, review, compare, validate, and maintain data.
• Prepare spreadsheets, reports, trackers, and other data resources as required.
• Assist with recurring reporting and information requests from IT, Operations, stores and other departments.
• Support IT with system updates, testing, troubleshooting, documentation and follow-up.
• Assist users with basic system and data questions and escalate complex issues.
• Investigate product, pricing, promotional, inventory, and system discrepancies.
