Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to support data center operations and infrastructure deployments. The role involves coordinating vendors, resources, timelines, and deliverables while adapting to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in project coordination or project support, a basic understanding of networking concepts, and strong communication skills for collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job description

• Previous experience in project coordination, project support, data center operations, infrastructure deployment, or a related technical environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to independently assess situations and work through challenges logically.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, data center infrastructure, or IT hardware.
• Familiarity with networking terminology, including switches, routers, fibre cabling, connectivity, and physical infrastructure.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience coordinating vendors, resources, timelines, and project deliverables.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities and project requirements can change frequently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership and jump in where needed.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Previous experience supporting data center builds, expansions, or infrastructure deployments.
• Exposure to GPU clusters, server infrastructure, or colocation environments.
• Experience with physical rack installations, equipment deployment, power connections, and structured cabling.
• Basic networking or IT infrastructure experience.
• Experience using Excel, spreadsheets, or other lightweight tools to track project activities and milestones.
