Role: Senior Data Analyst

Location: Edmonton Alberta (Remote)

Duration: 12 Months Contract With possible extension.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 6 years of experience with statistical and programming languages such as R, Python, SQL.
• 6 years of experience in building analytical and quantitative models.
• 6 years of experience with data science, data engineering, and/or AI projects.
• 6 years of experience in preparing data for prescriptive and predictive modeling.
• 6 years of experience in understanding complex business questions and framing analytical questions to solve problems.
• 6 years of experience with various data analytics and data science approaches, including complex statistical modeling.
• 6 years of experience with statistical and data mining techniques addressing key business issues.
• 5 years of experience with data sharing, data linkage, de-identification, metadata, data quality, ethics, synthetic data, and promoting government data use.
• 5 years of experience in combining raw data from diverse sources.
• 5 years of experience in client communication and explaining complex data principles.
• 3 years of experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and workflows.
• 5 years of experience in creating visualizations, dashboards, and analytical models.
• 5 years of experience in developing requirements for analytical projects.
• 3 years of experience working with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) or cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake).
• 3 years of experience working with large government datasets.
