Job summary

Veeva Systems is a mission-driven SaaS leader in life sciences. The Data Analytics Lead will own data systems, drive AI-ready analytics, and partner with product, client services, and implementation teams to surface insights that shape product strategy.

You will architect, build, and scale a data platform to serve internal users and customers, delivering customized analyses aligned with client strategies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in data science/analytics and/or data engineering, including leadership.
• Strong background in SQL, Python, data modeling, and large data sets.
• Experience enabling AI readiness in data architecture.
• Pharma/life sciences sector experience preferred but not required.
• Technical degree in CS/Math/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Modern Data Architecture & Engineering: upgrade data architecture to be AI-ready and accessible to users.
• Customer Data Integrations: guide data integrations with customer systems.
• Product Analyses: enhance analytics and measurement insights with product teams.
• Custom Analyses: fulfill client-specific analytical requests with client services.
• Leadership & Team Mentorship: lead and grow a data analytics/engineering team.
