Job summary

TD Bank is seeking a data analytics intern for a 4-month Winter term, based in Montreal or Toronto. The role supports analytics governance, data onboarding, and dashboard development to drive insights across GIAC, Revenue, Claims, Fraud, or Governance and Regulatory areas.

You will work with experienced colleagues, learn TD data practices, and contribute to real-world analytics projects while gaining exposure to a leading North American financial institution.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Business Insights, Statistics, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field
• Must be enrolled and plan to return to school at the start of work term
• Proficiency with SQL, Python and data visualization tools (Posit, Power BI)

Responsibilities

• Support Analytics Zone users with data governance and data management activities, including metadata management, data onboarding, documentation, and compliance-related practices
• Analyze and monitor operational performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decision making
• Develop and maintain analytical datasets and databases by transforming and enhancing existing data sources to support reporting and business insights
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions to track key performance indicators and business outcomes
