Job summary

RBC is seeking a Data Analyst for a 4-month winter student placement in Ontario. You will work within the RBC GRM Wholesale Credit Management – Wholesale Data Oversight team to ensure high-quality data assets and robust governance.

The role involves Python/SQL analysis, data quality reporting, and automation of monitoring tools, with hybrid/work arrangements discussed with the Hiring Manager. Experience with data management, visualization tools, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in CS/IS/Statistics or related field.
• Experience with SQL and Python.
• Experience with data management and visualization tools.
• Strong written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the enhancement and maintenance of data assets.
• Assist in maintaining enterprise data governance documentation.
• Assist in the design, deployment and automation of data monitoring tools.
• Enhance and augment reporting capabilities on data quality.
• Establish systematic data validation processes to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Leverage AI to enhance data governance.
