Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a third-year or higher Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related program at a top-tier Canadian university.
• Minimum 8 months of completed co-op or internship experience in software development, web development, or data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python with demonstrated experience building production applications.
• Advanced experience with Pandas for data manipulation and transformation.
• Solid understanding of web application architecture and design principles.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong curiosity and passion for data and insights.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and maintainable code.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a development team and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Web Application Development: Design and build full-stack web applications using Dash and Python.
• Backend Data Processing: Develop Python backend services for data transformations and pipelines.
• Interactive UI/UX Development: Create intuitive, responsive interfaces for data interaction.
• Software Engineering Best Practices: Write clean, tested code and manage versions and deployments.
