Job summary

Canadian Commercial Corporation seeks a Data Analyst and Customer Information Officer to maintain CRM data integrity, build dashboards, and support BI reporting in a hybrid Ottawa environment.

Ideal candidates have a university degree and 3–5 years in business analytics, CRM, or market research, with strong Power BI, Excel, and Dynamics experience. Bilingualism is required for CCC and related duties.

Qualifications

  • University degree in business, economics, statistics, data analytics, information systems, or related field.
  • Minimum three to five years of experience in business analysis, business intelligence, CRM administration, or related field.
  • Experience with CRM systems and customer databases (Microsoft Dynamics is an asset).
  • Experience preparing reports, dashboards, and analytical products using Power BI or similar BI tools.
  • Experience supporting performance measurement programs and KPI reporting.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related Office applications.
  • Knowledge of sales, marketing, and business development principles.
  • Knowledge of performance measurement methodologies and data management practices.
  • Understanding of Canadian and international business environments and market dynamics is an asset.
  • Bilingual in both Official Languages is required (CCC).

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the integrity, completeness, and accuracy of customer and pursuit information in the CRM environment.
  • Conducts data quality assurance and quality control activities.
  • Assists in the preparation of regular and ad hoc reports for Business Development and management.
  • Generates operational dashboards, metrics, scorecards, and KPI reports using Power BI, CRM tools, and other reporting platforms.
  • Supports the monthly pipeline reporting process.
  • Conducts customer, sector, market, and business intelligence research.
  • Supports analysis of customer portfolios, market segments, sectors, and strategic account information.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of customer profiles and segmentation models.
  • Identifies data anomalies and recommends corrective actions.
  • Supports documentation of business processes, procedures, user guides, and reporting methodologies.
  • Acts as a secondary CRM super-user and supports users with questions, training, and troubleshooting.
  • Assists with CRM enhancement requests, testing activities, reporting tools, dashboards, and system improvements.
  • Prepares briefing materials, presentations, and analytical summaries.
  • Maintains reporting of databases, records, and analytical files.
  • Contributes to special projects related to customer intelligence, business analytics, CRM optimization, and performance measurement.

What you’ll be doing

What you’ll bring to CCC

  • University degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum three to five years of experience in business analysis, business intelligence, CRM administration, customer analytics, sales operations, market research, or related field.
  • Experience with CRM systems and customer databases (Microsoft Dynamics is an asset).
  • Experience preparing reports, dashboards, and analytical products using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Experience supporting performance measurement programs and KPI reporting.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related Office applications.
