Job description

Create analytics and reporting for the Agent Review team to identify and assess patterns, track findings, and detect and mitigate risk.

Responsibilities

1. Participate in the development of reporting metrics and dashboards in collaboration with the Agent Review and Compliance teams.
2. Use analytics technologies including MSBI, Excel, SQL, SSIS, Power BI, to develop and maintain data, data extracts, and reporting.
3. Initiate, review, track, and provide reporting for client and agent file reviews performed by the Agent Review team.
4. Build automations using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
5. Assist in the development of reporting that identifies statistics, trends, and training opportunities for the sales field.
6. Document processes related to data warehousing, extracting, automations, analysis, and reporting.
7. Extract, transform, and load data using data management tools and T-SQL.
8. Administer and maintain the BI Portal, data warehouse, and existing BI solutions.
9. Assist management in conducting and facilitating internal testing and user acceptance testing.

Qualifications

1. Post-secondary education in finance, computer science, information technology, or related field.
2. Two years of experience in the insurance and/or securities industry.
3. Good understanding and experience with MSBI, Excel, SQL, SSIS, Power BI, and MS Office.
4. Analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
