Job summary

Altis Technology is seeking a Client Data Administrator in Toronto to support a mission-driven non-profit organization. The role emphasizes data integrity, reporting, and system administration, with opportunities to learn and contribute across programs.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in data administration or similar role.
  • Experience with databases, data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
  • EMhware software desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with Power BI is a strong asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to privacy and data handling.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client information systems, monitor data quality and privacy, and control system access.
  • Extract, clean, import, export, and integrate data to support internal reporting.
  • Create and enhance reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and provide first-level help desk support as needed.
  • Manage user activation/deactivation and conduct new-user training.
  • Support teams with data exports, analysis, and reporting requirements.
  • Develop processes to identify, correct, track, and prevent data-quality issues.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Client Data Administrator to support a mission-driven organization in the non-profit sector. Youll play an important role in maintaining the integrity, quality, and usefulness of client data while helping teams access the information they need to make informed decisions.

Working closely with program, clinical, finance, and operational teams, youll combine systems administration, reporting, analysis, and user support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving data challenges, supporting colleagues, and turning information into meaningful insights.

Your Responsibilities
  • Youll manage client information systems, monitoring data quality, integrity, privacy, and appropriate system access.
  • Youll extract, clean, import, export, and integrate data to support internal, regulatory, funder, and program reporting.
  • Youll create and enhance reports, dashboards, visualizations, and infographics that make data easier to understand and use.
  • Youll troubleshoot system and data issues, provide first-level help desk support, and coordinate with system providers as needed.
  • Youll manage user activation and deactivation while delivering new-user orientation, ongoing training, and data-entry best practices.
  • Youll support teams with data exports, analysis, data-table relationships, service trends, and reporting requirements.
  • Youll help develop processes that identify, correct, track, and prevent data-quality issues.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of related experience, supported by an undergraduate degree in data science or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience working with databases and information systems, including data entry, extraction, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience working with EMhware software is strongly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with Power BI is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information.
