Mine Equipment Operators

The Mine Equipment Operators are responsible for the safe operation and basic maintenance of Côté Gold's equipment, working collaboratively to execute operational plans.

We are specifically seeking qualified operators for:

• D65 Drill

Key Responsibilities

Area 1: Safe and Reliable Equipment Operation

• Maintain and operate equipment according to safety standards.
• Perform safety checks, cleaning, lubrication, and troubleshooting.

Area 2: Operational Excellence

• Engage in continuous learning and skill improvement.
• Utilize MineStar GPS for autonomous operations.
• Identify and address inefficiencies and problems.

Area 3: Collaboration for Reliability

• Coordinate with team members to meet shift goals.
• Mentor new team members and ensure accurate logs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to uphold safety, environmental, and community commitments.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience:

• At least 6 months of heavy equipment operation experience
• Maintenance experience is a plus

Additional Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license
• Heavy equipment training is an asset
