Job summary

BDO Canada is seeking a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Presales Solution Architect to collaborate with clients, SMEs, and delivery teams to define future-state architectures and transformation roadmaps. You will create compelling demonstrations, craft proposals, and ensure smooth transition from presales to delivery.

The role requires deep D365 expertise, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions across multiple modules.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with ERP implementations or business transformation programs.
• 5+ years hands-on with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations / Dynamics AX.
• Strong understanding of multiple D365 F&SCM functional areas with deep expertise in at least one or two domains.
• Experience designing end-to-end D365 solutions involving multiple modules and integrations.
• Previous experience in presales, solution architecture or solution design.
• Demonstrated ability to lead discovery workshops and translate business requirements into solution architecture.
• Strong presentation, communication, facilitation, and executive stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead D365 F&SCM solutioning activities throughout the opportunity lifecycle, from qualification and discovery through proposal, presentation, and contracting.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand client objectives, pain points, processes, technology landscape, and transformation priorities.
• Translate client requirements into a clear future-state solution architecture and transformation roadmap.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and maximize adoption of Microsoft standard capabilities.
• Develop differentiated solution strategies that clearly communicate business outcomes and value.
• Lead or contribute to RFP/RFI responses and proposal development.
• Develop solution architecture diagrams, business process flows, implementation approaches and scope definitions.
• Design end-to-end business processes within D365 F&SCM and define integration approaches.
