Job summary

BDO Canada LLP is seeking a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations/SCM Presales Solution Architect to lead solution strategy, architecture, and the positioning of D365 during the sales lifecycle. The role is flexible across Canada and supports a hybrid work arrangement, partnering with clients, SMEs, and delivery teams to translate business needs into compelling proposals that transition into delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in ERP and 5+ years with D365 F&O, with strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• 8+ years in ERP implementations or large-scale transformation programs.
• 5+ years hands-on with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations / Dynamics AX.
• Deep expertise across multiple D365 F&O/SCM functional areas.
• Experience designing end-to-end D365 solutions with integrations.
• Proven presales, solution architecture or design leadership.
• Strong ability to lead discovery workshops and translate requirements into architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead presales and solution strategy across the opportunity lifecycle.
• Conduct discovery sessions to capture objectives and processes.
• Translate requirements into a future-state D365 architecture.
• Develop differentiated solution strategies and value communication.
• Lead or contribute to RFP/RFI responses and proposals.
• Create architecture diagrams and implementation approaches.
• Define integration approaches between D365 and client apps.
• Ensure structured handoff to delivery and alignment post-sale.
• Support project initiation to ensure sold solution matches delivery.
