Job summary

PwC Canada invites a Summer Intern in Cybersecurity & Privacy to join our Advisory practice in Canada. You’ll gain hands-on client experience, work within a diverse team and learn how trust is built through compliance and strategic planning.

You’ll contribute to cybersecurity operations, learn to detect and respond to threats, and participate in workshops, mentoring sessions, and visits with firm leadership during May–August 2027. This internship launches your consulting career.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in the third year of a post-secondary program (CS/SE/Cybersecurity).
• Ability to code in Java, C, C++, or Python.
• Willingness to upskill for a digital world and learn new tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Learn cybersecurity concepts such as detection, response, and attack patterns.
• Work in an operational environment to observe cybersecurity operations first-hand.
• Assist with security monitoring, detection, response and client care.
• Ensure cybersecurity incidents are investigated, identified, assessed, reported, communicated, and mitigated.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and build positive working relationships.
