Job summary

PwC Canada is offering a Summer Internship in Advisory with a focus on Cybersecurity and Privacy. You will work on real client issues, learn how to protect and transform digital environments, and gain exposure to PwC’s consulting tools.

You will collaborate with a diverse team, develop hands-on skills, and engage in skill-building workshops, with opportunities to participate in client visits and community events this summer.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in post-secondary education in Technology.
• Ability to code in Java, C, C++ or Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in cybersecurity and privacy.
• Willingness to travel across Canada.

Responsibilities

• Learn cybersecurity concepts such as detection, response and attack patterns.
• Work in an operational environment to learn cybersecurity operations.
• Assist with security monitoring, detection, response and client care.
• Ensure cybersecurity incidents are investigated, reported, and mitigated.
• Ensure compliance to client agreements and improve processes.
• Develop use cases for security monitoring and threat modeling.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and build positive working relationships.
• Support cyber operations reporting and SLA monitoring.
