Job summary

PwC Canada is offering a Summer Internship in Cybersecurity & Privacy. As an intern you will learn detection, response and threat patterns, work in an operational cybersecurity environment, and support security monitoring and client care under experienced mentors.

You will gain hands-on experience with PwC’s digital tools, participate in workshops and leadership meetings, and contribute to improving security processes across projects in Canada.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in third year of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, applied mathematics, or computer engineering.
• Ability to code in Java, C, C++ or Python.
• Interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, and openness to learning new tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Learn cybersecurity concepts such as detection, response and attack patterns.
• Assist with security monitoring, detection, response and client care.
• Ensure cyber security incidents are investigated, identified, assessed, reported and mitigated.
• Ensure compliance to client agreements and adherence to processes.
