IVC Vita Health in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking an IT Security Analyst to protect our computer systems and networks from cyber threats. You will monitor for security breaches, investigate incidents, and implement protective measures while collaborating with end-users, technical teams and external vendors.

The role requires knowledge of ITIL, SIEM, RBAC, Active Directory, and endpoint protection, with networking fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ITIL framework is an asset.
• Knowledge of SIEM products or services is an asset.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation and coaching skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with IDS/IPS, enterprise-grade endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning, RBAC, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with tools like Manage Engine Endpoint Central, Password Manager and Service Desk.

Responsibilities

• Work on incidents and troubleshooting to restore business operations quickly.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours security support.
• Assist in day-to-day IT security operations following ITIL and best practices.
• Identify vulnerabilities and mitigate with company tools and reports.
• Follow change management to improve quality and efficiency.
• Maintain disaster recovery readiness for security services.
• Suggest improvements and automation opportunities within Security Technologies.
• Coordinate with IT Supervisor and MSP to ensure monitoring and alerting.
