Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods is seeking a Cyber Engineering and Technology Manager to lead a geographically dispersed security engineering team and advance our security architecture. The role partners with the VP of Information Security & CISO to evolve security policies, technology, and standards while ensuring delivery of secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of security-related experience across cyber security functions (Infrastructure, Vulnerability/ Patch, Network, Incident, Cloud, Data).
• Knowledge of Palo Alto, Microsoft security ecosystem, Cisco and F5 platforms.
• Minimum 2 years leading projects and teams.
• Experience in Consumer or Food & Beverage industry is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering/Computer Science is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a geographically dispersed technical team delivering cyber security initiatives.
• Influence executive cybersecurity initiatives aligned with strategy and coordinate with IT leadership.
• Define objectives and priorities for the team to meet strategic plans.
• Deliver advanced cyber security capabilities within Security Engineering and Technology.
• Support implementation of cyber security practices within Security Operations.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure and Engineering teams to integrate security platforms.
• Deliver security and risk products including design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
