Maple Leaf Foods, based in Mississauga, seeks a Cyber Engineering and Technology Manager to lead day-to-day security operations across the enterprise. Partner with the Director of Security Strategy and Architecture to build target state security architecture, and supervise incident handling and device management to maintain secure, compliant environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of security experience across cyber security functions (Infrastructure, Vulnerability and Patch Management, Network Security, Incident Management, Cloud Security, Data Security).
• Experience leading teams and projects with a consumer/food & beverage focus preferred.
• Knowledge of major security platforms and vendor ecosystems.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering or Computer Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a geographically dispersed team and oversee delivery of Cyber Security Engineering functions (Vulnerability Platforms, Network Security, Incident Management, Cloud and Data Security).
• Drive executive cybersecurity initiatives aligned with strategy and coordinated with the Manager of Security Operations.
• Set objectives and priorities for the team to support strategic and business plans.
• Deliver advanced Cyber Security capabilities and ensure implementation of best practices.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure and Engineering teams to integrate security platforms and enable business objectives.
• Report KPIs and KRIs to the VP of Information Security; manage tickets and escalations.
• Oversee cross-training and staff upskilling for coverage across functions.
• Liaise with external vendors to meet security requirements.
