Job description

Insight Global is looking for a Cyber Security Architecture consultant to join one of the world's largest agricultural organizations for a 6-month contract with a high possibility of extensions. This is a remote opportunity, with the preference of a candidate sitting in Calgary. A successful candidate will be working in the threat risk assessment team and primarily engaging in net new projects. Responsibilities include utilizing information from internal security infrastructure to gain visibility into cyber-threats and cyber-incidents, maintaining a strong understanding of current cyber security risks and vulnerabilities, and collaborating with other team members.

Must haves

1. 10+ years of IT industry experience with a minimum of 5 of those years working as a Security Architect
2. Experience working as a Security Architect at a mid to large sized organization
3. Previous experience working in incident response, automation, and threat modelling
4. Knowledge of networking, security awareness, and awareness of malicious activities online
5. Security documentation experience
6. Must have a clear understanding of enterprise project management fundamentals and working with agile software development teams
7. Experience working in an AWS or Azure environment
8. Ability to think outside of the box and communicate with upper-level management/stakeholders
