Job summary

Bell seeks a highly motivated Cyber Security Analyst II to join its Network team and support security operations for broadband fibre and wireless networks. You will manage security tooling, respond to incidents, and work with clients to ensure contractual security requirements are met.

You will participate in on-call rotations to support a 24/7 security environment and help with forensic investigations and restorations when needed.

Qualifications

• University or college degree in Computer Science; or 5 years of equivalent information systems experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting security solutions incl. auth, encryption, and audit.
• Practical experience managing and troubleshooting firewalls from multiple vendors.
• Experience with IPS management and troubleshooting incl. auth, authorization, encryption and device access.
• Ability to translate complex problems into actionable components.
• Ability to work with multiple clients and technologies.
• Ability to work under pressure during incidents.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily customer requests for changes to security infrastructure.
• Prepare changes for security devices (firewalls, IDS/IPS, IAM).
• Participate in new customer integration projects and services and prepare implementations.
• Review and interpret security alerts; provide diagnostics to support incidents.
• Assess and develop mitigation measures for security threats and inform customers.
• Proactively manage perimeter security equipment and related components.
• Configure, install, manage and maintain security devices; advise on best practices.
• Develop and keep maintenance release documentation updated.
• Observe security management best practices.
