Job summary

Bell Canada is seeking a Security Operations Analyst II to join its Security Operations team, leading investigations and resolution of complex incidents across Bell’s enterprise and customer environments in a fast-paced 24/7 setting.

The role emphasizes hands-on security engineering with Palo Alto Networks and Cisco ISE, providing senior-level expertise, incident remediation, and threat detection while collaborating with internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

• University or College program in Computer Science, or 5 years equivalent information systems experience.
• Hands-on design, implementation, and troubleshooting of security solutions including authentication, authorization, encryption, and audit capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily client requests for security changes.
• Prepare changes for security devices such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, identity and access management.
• Participate in new client onboarding projects and prepare implementations.
• Review and interpret security alerts; diagnose incidents to support clients.
• Develop mitigation measures during threats and inform customers.
• Manage perimeter security equipment and related components during threats or vulnerabilities.
• Configure, install, maintain security devices and advise on best practices.
• Document maintenance releases and keep it updated.
• Follow security management best practices.
