How You'll Make An Impact

1. Analyze coverage and settle the most complex and challenging claims in Gallagher Bassett's specialty claims areas.
2. Manage the full lifecycle of all assigned claims files.
3. Analyze coverage, determine defense obligations, and conduct thorough investigations to assess claims exposure.
4. Create reservation of rights and coverage denial letters.
5. Negotiate settlements with clients, attorneys, and Public Adjusters.
6. Interact extensively with involved parties and recommend outside expert advice as needed.
7. Prepare reserve and settlement requests for approval.
8. Act as a client advocate to ensure proper claims handling.
9. Understand claims processing and insurance brokerage business.
10. Handle claims in accordance with policies, procedures, legal, and regulatory requirements.
11. Provide guidance and supervision to lower-level adjusters.

About You

Required:

• High school diploma and 7 years of relevant experience in specialty claims, preferably Cyber.
• Ability to handle challenging claims issues at a senior adjuster level.
• Proper licensing/certification in applicable states or ability to obtain it.
• Knowledge of industry standards and practices.
• Proficiency with claims and business software.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree (highly preferred).
• 10+ years of claims adjusting experience in Cyber claims (highly preferred).
• JD degree (preferred).
