Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze coverage and settle complex claims in Gallagher Bassett's specialty claims areas.
2. Manage the full lifecycle of assigned claims files.
3. Conduct thorough analysis and investigations to determine claims exposure and recommend settlement strategies.
4. Create reservation of rights and coverage denial letters.
5. Negotiate settlements with clients, attorneys, and Public Adjusters.
6. Interact with involved parties and recommend outside expert advice when necessary.
7. Prepare reserve and settlement requests for approval.
8. Act as a client advocate to ensure proper claims handling.
9. Understand claims processing and the insurance brokerage business.
10. Provide guidance to lower-level adjusters.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma and 7 years of relevant experience in the specialty claims area.
• Ability to handle challenging claims issues at a senior adjuster level.
• Proper licensing or certification in applicable states or ability to obtain it.
• Knowledge of industry standards and practices.
• Computer proficiency with claims and business software.
