Qualifications :

• Will be building skids / base frames and frames of all sizes
• Must have Fluxcore (FCAW) Experience
• Must have a valid CWB Flat Fluxcore ticket as a minimum to start
• GMAW experience is considered an asset
• Must have fitting experience
• Must have the ability to fit and weld according to blueprint drawings
• Must be registered in the Alberta Apprenticeship Board (or will register after being hired)
• Must have the ability to read and understand blueprint drawings
• Have the ability to identify raw materials
• Be familiar with the production & QC inspection process
• Skilled at using equipment such as grinders, torches, chop saw, drill press and other hand tools
• Responsible to wear all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Quality and consistency in welds is a must. Most welding is done in the flat position and in such all materials are rolled and welded
• Must attend, and partake in all pre-job, post job, and monthly safety meetings
• Stainless Steel Mig Wire Welding Experience required for heat exchangers
• Sheet metal stainless steel experience

• Vice grip clamps or bessey clamps
• Hammer
• Center punch
• Extension cord
• Flashlight

Mandatory Schedule : Monday to Friday

6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM

Every Other Saturday 6 : 00 AM - 10 : 00 AM
