Job summary

Living Sky School Division No. 202 is seeking a part-time Temporary Nutrition Coordinator at Cut Knife Community School, starting immediately through June 30, 2027. The role is 1 day per week, 5 hours.

You will plan breakfasts, snacks, and lunches, arrange groceries, and help with special events for students and families. The position emphasizes a welcoming environment and food safety, with duties assigned by the Principal.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Course is required.
• Preference given to candidates with meal service preparation experience and knowledge of Aboriginal culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the school’s breakfast, snack, and lunch programs.
• Coordinate grocery ordering, meal planning, and food preparation.
• Provide meals for special events involving students and families.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure proper clean-up; perform duties as assigned by the Principal.

Cut Knife Community School is looking for a Part-Time Temporary Nutrition Coordinator to work alongside individual students or small group for academic and/or behavior interventions.

Summary of Position

Responsible for planning and overseeing the school’s breakfast, snack, and lunch programs, as well as providing meals for special events involving students/families. Manages grocery ordering, meal planning, and food preparation, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and proper clean-up. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Principal.
