Living Sky School Division No. 202 is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant for Maymont Central School, starting October 1, 2026 and ending June 28, 2027.

Educational Assistants support students with intensive needs in personal care, life skills, academics, communication, and behavioral support as directed by teachers. The ideal candidate will promote engagement and success in a collaborative setting; Grade 12 education and a post-secondary childcare credential are assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one year relevant childcare experience
• Post-secondary certificate in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

Summary Of Position

This posting is for a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant Position at Maymont Central School, commencing October 1, 2026, and ending June 28, 2027. Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. Educational Assistants support students with intensive needs in five key areas: providing personal care, life skills and experiences, academic assistance, communication, and behavioural support as required by students and directed by teachers.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
