Job summary

Cole International is seeking an entry-level Customs Analyst to join our team in Canada. You’ll support customs clearance, review documents, and ensure timely processing of shipments for international clients.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy detail-oriented work and problem solving in a fast-paced logistics environment. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team, learn customs procedures, and contribute to accurate data entry, timely updates to customers, and ongoing process

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fast and accurate typing abilities are essential.
• Strong attention to detail and logical thinking required.
• Proactive work ethic with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Previous experience in customs brokerage is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process shipment data to facilitate customs clearance for international shipments.
• Review and verify the accuracy of customs documentation.
• Communicate with customers to provide updates, answer inquiries, and resolve issues.
• Monitor emails and respond promptly to requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Report any discrepancies to your supervisor.
• Take initiative and assist with other duties as needed.
