Job Description

Join our experienced Global Customer Support Team in Vancouver, Canada! Are you passionate about customer support, customer relations, and technical troubleshooting? ChartWorld is looking for a dedicated individual to provide world-class support to our clients in the merchant shipping industry worldwide. This position is based in Vancouver, working 40 hours per week.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver exceptional customer support to our global clients.
  2. Create accounts for new vessels and manage related administration and registration.
  3. Serve as the main point of contact between customers and internal departments.
  4. Assist the sales team with customer inquiries and quotations.
  5. Manage installation requests, pre-installation checklists, and related administration.
  6. Communicate with customers on board and in shipping companies via phone and email.
  7. Troubleshoot technical issues efficiently and effectively.
  8. Register and manage cases within KPIs using Salesforce CRM.
  9. Support customers with chart loading issues.
  10. Assist with chart sales and quotations for existing customers.
  11. Manage software registration and activation processes.
  12. Update and maintain the FAQ/Knowledge base and monitor PAYS position reporting.
  13. Collaborate with sales, technical support, and product development to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  14. Participate in 24/7 support shifts via phone and email.

To be ready for this role, you should have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, both speaking and writing.
  • A second language is a plus.
  • Experience in hospitality or customer service industries.
  • A keen interest in the maritime domain.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software.

This position requires access to export-controlled information or items, and applicants must be eligible to obtain the necessary export control licenses from U.S. authorities.

Salary Range: $40,100.00 - $53,400.00
