Job description

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Customer Support Administrator to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career in administration within a global TIC business. This is an on-site position, based out of our Calgary or Edmonton labs.

Responsibilities
  1. Handle client calls and fulfill requests such as reports, analysis, sample testing status, account and invoice inquiries, sampling information, pricing, test availability, missing samples/data, information sheets, and bottle orders.
  2. Resolve client issues including missing sample information, verification of analysis requests, sample volume or preservation issues, agreement verification, repeat analysis notifications, billing, and onboarding new clients.
  3. Accept and monitor rush samples, manage turnaround times, and inform technicians of due dates.
  4. Create new clients and manage agreements in LIMS, issue reports, and update notes accordingly.
  5. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhere to the Quality System, and perform general duties as directed by the team leader or lab manager.
  6. Login samples into LIMS, communicate with clients regarding samples, results, reports, or account information.
  7. Work with trainees, maintain training records, and seek guidance from supervisors when needed.
Skills / Qualifications
  • Science background with education to A level preferred.
  • Experience in an office environment is advantageous.
  • Highly motivated, organized, and flexible with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet deadlines without compromising safety or quality.
