Job summary

King's Services is seeking a Customer Service Specialist in Headingley, MB to provide exceptional support, resolve inquiries, and efficiently process orders. You will report to the Customer Service Supervisor and participate in a training program to learn enterprise software.

Qualifications

• Experience in phone-based customer service or call center roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn new software and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to collaborate with team and support operators.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming and place outgoing calls to customers.
• Listen to inquiries and guide customers to services that fit their needs.
• Enter customer requests accurately into the enterprise software.
• Develop new business and service opportunities from existing and new clients.
• Process quotes and follow up with customers.
• Resolve complaints or escalate to Supervisor as needed.
• Assist teammates and perform other duties as assigned.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to our customers by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and efficiently processing orders.

This position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor, and is part of our Sales Department. We have a structured training program that includes step-by-step instructions and review in order to learn our enterprise software. Our Customer Service Specialists also get the opportunity to ride along with operators to gain a full understanding of the products and services we offer.

Compensation: $18-20 per hour

What you’ll be doing

• Receiving incoming and placing outgoing calls
• Actively listening to customer concerns, providing guidance on our services to suit their needs
• Accurately booking and entering customer requests and information into our enterprise software
• Developing new business and service opportunities from existing and new clients
• Processing customer quotes and following up
• Resolving customer complaints or referring more complex problems to your Supervisor
• Providing help to other members of the team when asked and performing other duties as assigned

The skills you bring

• Advanced computer navigation skills, ability to learn new systems
• Ability to work with Team Members to solve problems
• Phone customer service experience required, phone sales experience is an asset
• Excellent phone etiquette, verbal, and written communication skills
• Must be able to multitask, prioritize and manage your time
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, growing team environment
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
