The Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services department is responsible for building a healthy, inclusive and vibrant City, as well as ensuring that communities, residents and visitors have access to the recreation and cultural places, programs, events and services that allow them to experience all the benefits the City has to offer, and overseeing Buildings and Facilities Management for improved service delivery integration, ensuring the best possible client experience in City facilities.
You are responsible for providing support to the Recreation Facility, Arts Centre or programs assigned in functional areas of cash management, clerical/administrative support, technical duties, program registration and information, program support, general supervision, and quality service to our customers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCECompletion of Grade 11
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role and working with the public
Completion of college diploma in Administration, Recreation or related field, combined with a minimum of 6 months of experience, is desirable
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES Current Standard First Aid certificate Current CPR - 2-rescuer certificate Current AED Operator certificate AODA Customer Service/IASR Training KNOWLEDGEWHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
