Job summary

Groupe Mach Inc. in Sherbrooke seeks a part-time Customer Service Representative for the holiday season. The role requires availability on weekdays, evenings, and weekends with a pay of $18.15/hour.

You will become thoroughly knowledgeable about the shopping centre’s services and assist visitors with information, directions and a friendly experience. You will handle gift card sales and daily desk duties while coordinating with security and housekeeping teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of the centre's services, amenities, facilities, stores, promotions and guest tools.
• Welcome visitors and provide information, directions and assistance with a courteous, helpful experience.
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers and direct to the appropriate contacts.
• Collaborate with service delivery teams (security, housekeeping, etc.).
• Perform daily customer service desk duties per policies and procedures.
• Be responsible for gift card sales, cash balancing and sales reconciliation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The role is a part-time position for the holiday season (20 to 25 hours per week) and requires availability on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: $18.15/hour

Based at Carrefour de l'Estrie and reporting to the Team Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the following:

• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the shopping centre’s services, amenities, facilities, stores, promotional activities, and customer comfort tools;
• Welcome visitors to the shopping centre and provide information, directions, and assistance while delivering a customer experience characterized by attentiveness, courtesy, and helpfulness;
• Respond to inquiries from both internal and external customers, providing accurate and relevant information and directing them to the appropriate contacts when necessary;
• Collaborate with service delivery teams (security, housekeeping, etc.);
• Perform daily customer service desk duties while adhering to established policies and procedures;
• Be responsible for gift card sales, cash balancing, and sales reconciliation;
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment;
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.
