Job summary

QuadReal Self Storage Management is seeking a Store Associate in Toronto, Ontario to assist customers in person, over the phone, and by email. You will rent storage units, confirm reservations, and update the client database while upselling moving supplies.

Daily duties include completing admin tasks, collecting payments, inspecting units, and maintaining a clean, secure property. Weekend work is required; retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma and/or some post-secondary education.
• A proven background in customer service and retail sales.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications.
• Energy, enthusiasm, and pride in your work.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Ability to work weekends.

• Perform daily inspections of rental units to ensure that they are clean, properly locked and client-ready.
• Maintain property appearance by cleaning spaces, sweeping, removing debris, organizing moving carts, etc.

The expected hourly range for this role is $19 - $21.

Based on the position, QuadReal offers a competitive total rewards package in addition to the base pay, which may include a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, pension plan, and paid time off.
