Job summary

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals for a sales-based role. You will use strategic selling skills to build relationships with customers and coordinate moves.

The position emphasizes meeting daily and monthly sales goals, handling inquiries, and supporting the PR calendar and marketing activities in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or post graduate is preferred.
• Six months to one year of customer service/office experience is preferred.
• Outside or inbound sales and/or moving industry experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly attitude.
• Ability to initiate contact and ask for the sale.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service on all calls and online inquiries.
• Recommend/sell moving services, products, supplies, equipment, and other value-added services based on cost, availability, and customer specifications.
• Utilize sales proficiency to secure critical sales.
• Enter, schedule, and coordinate customer moves.
• Achieve daily, monthly, and yearly sales goals and customer satisfaction goals.
• Prepare and complete all required paperwork.
• Follow-up with customers post-move to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle customer concerns professionally.
• Participate in sales, marketing and networking activities and manage the PR calendar.
• All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Calmly and professionally handle customer concerns, complaints, or customer service issues
• Will participate in other sales, marketing, and networking activities in addition to charitable move coordination as well as manage the PR calendar
• All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or post graduate is preferred.
• A minimum of six months to one year of customer service and/or office experience is required
• Outside or inbound sales and/or TWO MEN AND A TRUCK or moving industry experience is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful)
• Demonstrated understanding and application of effective selling strategies and techniques
• Confidence to initiate customer contact, and comfortable asking for the sale
• Strong team player who works productively with a wide range of people and personalities
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills
• Able to perform basic business math
• Able to present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors

• Bilingual is a plus
