Job summary

Delta Bingo and Gaming in Ontario is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide courteous service to patrons, assist with bingo product sales, call back winning cards, and keep the gaming area clean and ready for business.

You will interact daily with customers, respond to requests promptly, balance cash and operate the POS system, and work with charity members and staff to ensure smooth bingo events.

Responsibilities

Job Description - Customer Service Representative

SUMMARY:

Provides courteous and efficient service to patrons in the sales of bingo products, calling back winning bingo cards, and ensuring playing area is clean and ready for business. Interacts with customers daily, promptly responding to all requests in a courteous and efficient manner. Encourages the sale of company products at every opportunity and applies exemplary customer relation skills that promote a superior company image. Provides prompt service in a time sensitive manner to ensure bingo event runs free of delays.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Include but are not limited to):

• Work co-operatively with charity members and co-workers.
• Obtain and maintain an AGCO License.
• Operate with cash float and paper inventory.
• Balance cash float and paper inventory at the end of the shift.
• Maneuver around the playing area selling bingo products.
• Work from and operate a POS sales system.
• Alert and ready to assist with running to for declared bingos.
• Assist to ensure bingo caller is aware of declared bingos.
• Assist to call back declared bingo in a clear, loud, and audible tone.
• Assist in paying verified winner correct prize amount.
• Assist to maintain playing area (tables, chairs, floors) by keeping area clean and free of clutter.
• Understand all of the Delta Bingo & Gaming programs and promotions.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding bingo programs, Red 7, promotions, and any other product or service offered at the Gaming Centre.
• Assist to bundle paper and pocket slots.
• Immediately refer customer concerns to the session manager.
• Immediately report potential safety hazards to the session manager.
• Undertake other tasks and housekeeping duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Comply with Delta Bingo & Gaming dress code.
• Behave in a professional manner (e.g. Refrain from the use of foul language).
• Must be able to work scheduled shifts.
• Demonstrate teamwork attitude through such things as willingness to cover shifts.
