Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is posting a 14-month contract for a seasoned Customer Service Manager to oversee the international Customer Service teams for the Teledyne Machine Vision Camera Group and Teledyne Optech. The role is based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, with a hybrid work arrangement.

You will drive service excellence, team performance, and customer satisfaction across multiple regions. Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations and Planning, you will manage order acceptance

Qualifications

  • 5 years of Customer Service or similar team management experience (technology manufacturing space preferred).
  • Extensive knowledge of ERP systems (SAP Preferred) with a focus on sales orders and RMAs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and intercultural awareness.
  • Ability to operate within and switch between multiple business contexts and systems.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications, especially Outlook and Excel.
  • Experience managing international teams with diverse background is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage an international team of Customer Service Representatives located in Canada, Japan, and Germany across multiple divisions within the MVC Group.
  • Oversee all aspects of order acceptance and entry including: Verifying customer purchase orders to an established acceptance standard
  • Entering and maintaining sales orders into ERP (SAP)
  • Processing customer returns RMAs
  • Vetting and setup of new customers (trade compliance screening, account creation etc.)
  • Communicating schedule changes and other order related updates to the internal sales team and external customers
  • Answering non-technical customer questions including order status and schedule
  • Supporting the sales team and customers as needed

Salary Range:

$83,600.00-$111,500.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
