Calgary Co-op is seeking a Customer Service Cashier in Calgary, AB. You will provide excellent customer service, operate checkouts, maintain displays, manage stock, and ensure price integrity while following safety policies.

Reporting to the Front End Manager, you’ll handle money, invoices, and various office tasks as needed. The role emphasizes English fluency, cash handling experience, and basic computer skills (Word/Excel/Outlook).

Qualificações

• Grade 9 or acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Related retail experience.
• Previous cash handling, banking or related retail experience.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Basic Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Previous retail cashier experience.
• Cashier-training program (within probation or class trial).

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service and maintain positive relations.
• Stock and display products efficiently around candy/magazine racks and front end displays.
• Ensure price integrity and handle price changes.
• Maintain clean and organized sales floor and back stock area.
• Follow Health & Safety, Food Safety and Environmental policies.
• Care for equipment and report repairs.
• Open and close duties for Customer Service and Office functions.
• Operate checkouts and manage cash handling.
• Assist with ordering money, merchandise and supplies as required.
• Organize inventory and manage receiving processes as needed.
