Job summary

Dollar Tree Canada in Port Perry is looking for a Customer Service Associate to help deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage transactions at the register, and maintain a clean, stocked store.

The role requires lifting 30–50 lbs, standing for long periods, and strong communication skills. This is a part-time position based in Port Perry, Ontario.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

The starting pay for this position is $17.60 per hour.
